Our Mission
Phoenix Futures Education Fund is a registered non-profit organization empowering Caribbean children through access to education and culturally rooted learning opportunities. The initiative is grounded in the belief that preparation builds confidence while confidence fuels opportunity.
By providing essential school supplies alongside exposure to creative and developmental experiences, we help students start strong, focus on learning, and expand their sense of what’s possible beyond their immediate circumstances.
Rooted in Caribbean values and supported by the diaspora in Canada, Phoenix Futures bridges education and community to create lasting impact across generations.
Current Focus: Hurricane Relief
for Jamaica
While many know Jamaica for its breathtaking beauty and vibrant culture, it’s home to real families who need our support now more than ever. Following the devastation of Hurricane Melissa, our focus has turned to Savanna-la-Mar, a historic coastal town in Westmoreland and the heart of many family stories—including our own.
We’re working to help children and their families maintain access to food, school supplies, and safe shelter as they recover and rebuild.
Current priority items include:
Baby formula • Powdered milk • Tarpaulins • Canned and dried foods • Laptops • Tablets • Starlink modems
Monetary donations are also encouraged to help purchase materials such as plywood and other essentials for home restoration.

Our Impact
So Far
Through our pilot initiative, we provided backpacks filled with school supplies and snacks to over 100 children in Trinidad who represented diverse neighbourhoods and needs.
The event was marked by immense warmth and care. Our parents shared how the smooth organization and welcoming atmosphere helped ease the back-to-school burden and saved their families a significant cost.
As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our reach to carry forward our commitment to creating access to, and opportunity through education.
